Except for a few large residential and golf developments being built, the eastern part of our county remains rural. While most of these places are known simply as crossroads, Mill Spring, Sunny View, Pea Ridge and Collinsville offer wonderful scenic drives and some of the best views in the county. And surprisingly, many of these were sizable communities in the early days – featuring large homes, stores and even a hotel. So be sure to grab our map and set out for scenic exploration along Highway 9 and points east.
